Edible City Kassel: Queer gardening in Kassel 17.00 – 18.30

Queerness was once and in some cases still is considered “un-natural”. Queer gardening challenges this “un-naturalness” by creating queer-feminist ecologies. The documentary “Queer Gardening” examines what horticultures look like when binaries such as nature/culture, human/more-than-human and body/environment are deconstructed. The director Ella von der Haide will be present for q&a. At 15.30 we are exploring in a Tattoo Workshop how non-anthropocentric relationships to gardens can be life changing. And at 17.00 the Edible City Kassel Group will present how they are queering their gardens.
